Born and raised in the Florida Keys (with a brief stint in VA), I grew up surrounded by the beauty of island living. These waters have spoiled me, and I can no longer swim in water colder than 78 degrees without freezing to death. Sad, I know! I’m so glad you came upon my site and I welcome you to the Keys with open arms, hoping to share with you the beauty all around us. If you already live here, then there’s no need for me to explain to you about the warm, clear waters, the absolutely breathtaking sunsets, or the laid-back style of living that only exists on an island. But I digress, this was supposed to be about me!
After high school, I attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and graduated with a degree in Photography (yay me!). School was great for learning the technicalities of photography, of which there are many, and thankfully I had an amazing group of professors who not only showed me how to take an amazing photo, but also showed me how to sell it. With tons of hands-on experience under my belt, I ventured out into the real world armed with my camera and an open mind. I have been photographing ever since, always learning, always adapting and evolving into the photographer I am now and the photographer I hope to be in the future. I truly think that you learn something new everyday.
Currently I live in Key Largo, Florida. I photograph all over South Florida and the Florida Keys, but that said, I love to travel and I can’t imagine life without it. If I ever win the lottery, booking me may prove slightly difficult as I may be halfway around the world at any given time. Hah, one can dream, right? On my travels I like to photograph the different landscapes and people. So far I’ve been all around the states, the Bahamas, Greece, and Ireland. I’m hoping to visit China or Italy next year. So that said, yes, I will definitely travel if you’d like to book me for your wedding in Scotland, or Germany, or wherever you may be. 🙂 In fact, I encourage you!
I’ll be seeing you soon!
